This really does climb walls! When in suction mode, it sounds like a small vacuum cleaner which is a bit annoying to the adults. It doesn't turn corners, so to get it to crawl on the ceiling, you have to be tall enough to put it there first. The legs are a bit flimsy. However, the fun of this toy outweighs all the negatives. My 8-year-old daughter loves it...

The spider was ordered for my 6-year old grandson and was a very big hit. I found it a little creepy - but he loves it! It's not a particularly educational toy - it's just pure fun...
